Smallpox Vaccination and the HIV+: The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommends that
- Those with HIV NOT be vaccinated!
- Those with HIV "should stay away from people who have been vaccinated against Smallpox until the site of vaccination has completely healed (typically 3 weeks after vaccination). "
