for the H.O.P.E. Foundation
(Potential volunteers are invited to contact the Office)
- Work on the Website:
- mechanical effort:
- verify that links are still valid
- proofread: even spell checkers are not foolproof, especially for a missing word.
- research:
find more valuable info to post or link to
- Work on the Social:
- help find and coordinate hosts for social
- serve on telephone team, notifying folks of the next Social
- coordinate telephone team
- help spread the word about the Social to folks who might like to come
- Work on Lectures:
- help pick topics
- find speakers
- publicize
- Work on Finances:
- help contact funding sources to invite financial assistance:
- foundations
- local businesses
- major corporations
- local governments
- (even possible mailings)
- find and work with corporations with matching gift programs
- help find free publicity
- public service announcements
- event listings
- donated advertizing space
- You could even help financially yourself, if you have the means:
donations are tax-deductible.
- Work on Ideas:
Ideas are always welcome. Without fresh ideas, nothing better ever happens.
Help develop ideas: good ideas often die for lack of anyone to follow through,
research and implement them.
